About Us

Our mission is to collect, preserve, and publish materials related to Lowell and to encourage and promote the study of the city’s history. We sponsor several lectures and workshops throughout the year.

Our main archives are located in the Mogan Center at the Center for Lowell History, 40 French Street, Lowell, MA 01852. Office Hours are by appointment.

Our Board of Directors meets the second Tuesday of each month (excluding July and August).
